Tripple D - Dry Dusty Dirty

Remember a few posts ago I told you
 that I would show what the drought looks like in the Redwoods.

    1. Redwoods get a lot of fog due to being so close to the ocean so they will survive as they have for hundreds of years..
      It's the farms that are hurting the most because they are not getting enough water to grow crops, that water comes from the mountain range to the east.

  2. I visited CA several years ago now and was distressed to see how low the water levels were then. This drought is serious.

  3. Do you have any pictures from a "normal" year that we can compare to these?

    1. I don't know if I do. I don't think I photographed the area long enough to know what the "normal" is for summer.
